Day 1 of 184

Today is the day I start my new way of living. I was a pro athlete in the 90's and after getting married and having a son I quit working out and eating right. As a result of this I now weigh more than I ever have tipping the scales at 305. I am a licensed personal trainer and am very embarrassed in the way I look, so much that I have not used my training to help me in a career where I help other people. Let's face it who wants to take advice from a fat boy who looks like he might have used to know where a gym was located but those days are long gone. I now have a four year old son who I adore and means the world to me, this journey is as much for him as it is for me. I know how cruel the world can be and he should not have to go through it with a fat daddy or being overweight himself. I have been very fortunate in my life to have worked with some great names in the fitness industry and now is the time to put what I have learned to the test. I am 37 y/o 6ft 2in and weigh 305 my goal is to get back to my best weight of 225lbs.  Time to hit the reset button on life. I hope you will enjoy this journey. Drop me any questions you may have or any helpful advice you may want to share. I ran on the treadmill this morning in 2 min intervals resting for 2 min. for a 30 min period never stopped during resting period I was walking at a fast pace. keep heart rate around 120 burned 330 cals. Going back this afternoon.
