What's trending this spring/summer?

Want to get a head start on what will be popular this summer/spring ?

I guess most of you would already have an answer to the question but still am writing this post as I myself found few new and interesting trends while surfing the net, which may not be too popular among all of us!

So, here is a short list of what is trending -

1.Stripes- They are very much in trend now. Stripes are so chic and cool at the same time (I love Zebra :P)From striped blazers to striped shoes, everything that has got stripes on it can be worn and carried!
Striped blazers are my favorite- they are so classy!
You can wear this trend anywhere and everywhere- to a business meeting or to a dinner party!
Try out striped pants, you can club them with a simple top and a one tone blazer which goes with the pants (no striped blazers with pants- they will make you look like a Zebra)
Add on simple jwellery, a classy hand bag and maybe flat slippers or one tone heels (can be wedges or pencil)

2.Lace - This fabric is famous for quite sometime now and yes, its still trending.....making all of us look more and more hot!
Recently I saw lace indian dresses too and they looked beautiful.
I need to buy a black lace dress, they just look super hot and to add on there are lace shoes too!
Okay I know I sound bit obssessed with this trend but seriously its a wardrobe must have now, let it be a shirt or shoes for that matter!
AND, lace crop tops look amazinggggg! you can wear them with a bright tank top inside or on any of your sleevless tops!
Never go for two lace stuff together - eg; lace dress and shoes (big no no). If you have a plain black lace shirt go with bright coloured pants like red, orange,etc (neon color pants are trending a lot nowadays).
Try collar necklaces with your lace peice and add a lil bling on the whole! It will give an extra edge to the whole outfit and you are all set for a club party!

3.Pastels- This remind me of macarons :P sorry, off the track but yeah macarons in pastel colors look so pretty. If it can make things look pretty then just imagine yourself in these beautiful shades!Pastels are making it big now in the fashion world. From runway to streets, it is popular all around. My personal favorite is pastel jwellery. Its elegant, pretty, feminine and clasy.
Go for pastel shoes more, they are super elegant and look so so classy and of course will go almost with all your outfits. Jackets in these shades are again chic and gives the rich look, try mixing light pastel shades with a bright or darker contrast shade.

4. Patterns - Any kind of pattern you can think of is going to be on the trend list.
Go for bright colours more and you can experiment with big and small patterns.
Floral is most popular in the  pattern category so try floaral blazers, they are just amazing. I personally love pattern footwear and paisley print, it just makes your outfit so chic!

So, I went gloss shopping and after trying three major brands I decided to buy the new Colorbar Perfect Pout Lip Gloss wicked shade-004 

Product Claims - Immediate volume – A unique and revolutionary product that increases the volume of lips without and discomfort. Extra glossy finish – Designed to provide high shine for all day long. Extremely creamy and moisturizing – keeps your lips smooth, soft and intensely hydrated. Dermatologically tested Here is my  take on the new Perfect Pout Gloss ..... 1. It does give a nice glossy pout effect. 2. The shade is really pretty - A nude pink(ish)  which gives a simple subtle look. 3. Now I come to the most important part - the gloss lasts max to max upto 2 hours!! 4. A thick gloss layer would last upto only 2-3 hours. 5. But the best part is it comes wtih an expiry of 3 years. 6. It has an amazing packing which makes it travel friendly and easy to carry. Hence the conclusion is , its not worth the price of Rs.495 It is my first Colorbar experience and turned out lil bad on the whole!:-( But whoever wants to get those glam attractive pout lips for a small short party or quick dinner can go for this.But do not forget to carry it! You might need to re-apply..... ** Tip -Do not wear it to a  date! Cause you may have to rush again and again to the restroom for re-application ;)

Aroma / essential oils review

Hi everyone, What most of us need is healthy skin! We all are so busy with our daily routine that we ignore ourselves or feel lazy to take care of ourselves cause of which we damage the most important part of us - our skin! So how to manage our schedule with a healthy glowy skin? Here is the answer - try aroma oils! Am posting review of few essential "essential oils"- Firstly, What are aroma oils? Aroma oils also known as fragrance or essential oils are oils generated from plants. Its an "essential" oil cause it carries a distinctive scent, or essence, of the plant generated from. Like lavender oil, tea tree oil, etc I have been using lavender oil, tea tree oil, fairy oil, beautiful skin oil, for sometime now and trust me they all can do wonders to the skin. Lavender Oil- It is an essential oil obtained from the flower spikes of certain species of lavender. Its best to fight any sort of skin allergy, skin irritation. Make sure to dilute it and then apply to skin. For people feeling stressed and suffering for insomnia should apply it on the forehead before going to sleep and take a good sniff too. It a strong relaxant and pain reliever. Mix few drops of lavender oil in your face moisturiser and then apply all over. Fairy Oil- Helps to reduce inflammation and blackheads. Its natural antibacterial properties helps reduce acne. It also helps to balance oily skin. The anti bacterial and antiseptic properties help to control external infection and causes leading to acne. Though it takes time to react but its helpful and the result is indeed good. For best result apply at night before going to sleep and if possible, 2-3 times during the day. Beautiful Skin Oil- As described by Aroma Magic beautiful skin oil rejuvenates the skin, diminishes fine lines on face & neck & makes it firm & smooth and is for normal & aged skin. It smells amazing and does brings the glowy skin back! Tea Tree Oil- Best oil for any and all skin problems.  The antiseptic properties can help in the fight against skin blemishes,rash after any beauty treatment can be cured by this oil. Manage those colored tresses!!

Hi there, this post is for all of you out there who want to add a lil more fun and color to their tresses!

A lot of us think twice , probably a lot more, before coloring hair.

I have been coloring mine for last two years and trust me they are still as good as they were before.

We all love to try different looks and if its a success then BAM what more do we wish for?!

But we do want more! we want a sustainable healthy look which is damage free!

So, before turning up to any salon for hair coloring take an pre-coloring appointment and ask all your doubts!
A big NO to bleach content in hair color mixture!
Discuss this with your stylist before and make sure they use professional colors with less or no ammonia and simply no bleach !
Bleach is usually used for highlights and streaking which later on destroy those strands!
Its said that bleach adds on to the coloring effect but what fun if you end up destroying your beautiful tresses!
Hair coloring range by Wella professional is my all time favorite!
So all you out there go for it and yes do not forget to take proper post-color care!
Use shampoo and conditioner for colored hair! Go for hair spa and deep conditioning once in a week!
And there is nothing stopping you from getting that look you have been waiting for!
