A ‘must see’ movie- ‘Angels and Demons’

If you liked the movie ‘The Da Vinci Code’, you should really enjoy ‘Angels and Demons’. Once you fall into this category; if you love suspense, this movie definitely won’t disappoint you.

In the Da Vinci Code, the church were the baddies. This time they are the victims or the good guys.

I’ve heard the book ‘The Da Vinci Code’ was not that interesting compared to ‘Angels and Demons’. Let’s hope the action in the book translates well to the big screen.

Why a ‘must see’ movie:

A few, huge, hidden facts of the world put together and there you have it! - A mystery everyone’s waiting to watch.

The movie is also a multi-layered debate about which is to be trusted - science or religion. (You decide.)

Tom Hanks is a brilliant actor. His fans don’t need a reason. (It has been rumoured that Hank’s pay packet for ‘Angels and Demons’ is between $29 million and $49 million making him the highest-paid actor in Hollywood.)

Other than the above, you will not be able to escape a logo, a poster, a news item or a photograph of the movie. If someone says, “Hey I saw ‘Angels and Demons’. It was great!”- That’s enough to get us hooked.

But one thing is for sure- Those who do not watch it are missing a great deal.

The nonstop, action-packed thriller, ‘Angels and Demons’ will premiere in the Gulf on the 14^th of May 2009.

"Angels and Demons"

There must have been something really going on between the Illuminati and the Vatican in the past. Some say the movie ‘Angels and Demons’ is anti-catholic. Others say it’s not. Some people are atheists, while some believe that one day science will clearly prove that God exists. What’s all the noise about?

We are all different and so we think differently. Now let’s get to what matters:

Obviously, the movie owes its success to the book written by Dan Brown. According to me, he is just a common man, fascinated by the world’s hidden secrets just like you and me. The difference between him and others is that he took the trouble to find facts. Not just any fact- a mysterious, deadly fact I must say, about the ancient brotherhood that existed- The Illuminati (the enlightened ones).

In the movie ‘Angels and Demons’, Langdon runs through the ‘Eternal City’ deciphering clues linked to a centuries-old secret society- the Illuminati. And Langdon is sandwiched by the Illuminati and the Vatican.

I think the movie is exciting and is definitely thrilling. Watching this movie would be like entering another world…a real world. It would give you the impression that the world you are now living in is just a world of make believes.
